You've Been in My Thoughts And Prayers

You've been in my thoughts lately,
and I said a prayer for you...
I asked for health and strength for you
from dawn to dusk each day
And when shadows grow long,
and evening has come,
I asked that God's presence never stray.

I asked that in everything you do,
God's loving care will always surround you
And that whatever life brings your way,
loved ones will always be near you.

I asked that your heart be filled with joy
at the break of each day,
and that peace, hope and love, will fill
every waking moment of everyday life.

When I finished praying,
I felt God's peace
deep within my heart
And as I sit here thinking of you
I believe He heard every word.
